My name is Kathy Chen（resilienceedu.com）, a former interior designer with a background in fine arts. I once designed my daughter’s first “jewel” based on a simple drawing she made. That innocent moment unexpectedly opened the door to a new journey—jewelry design.

To break the stereotype of jadeite as “old-fashioned”

Our Origin
The name “XUANYUE” combines my name and my daughter’s:
“Xuan” (璇) meaning beautiful jade,
“Yue” (玥) meaning radiant pearl.
Together, it symbolizes “treasured like jewels.”
It also reflects our belief in emotional connection and heritage through design.

With my background in spatial design, I approach jewelry like miniature architecture. Each piece balances structure, harmony, and storytelling. We combine traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic—
